Window Energy Ratings

We are currently certifying the NRG & Platinum NRG products with BFRC.

The NRG Chamfered and Sculptured products will both be certified to C, B & A ratings.

The Platinum NRG product will be certified with two separate A ratings. The higher ratingachieves a result of ‘+9’ and will be branded as Platinum NRG ultra.

All ratings except the ultra have been achieved without the need for Low Iron glass. Thisremoves any issues with obscured units as they will achieve the same rating as a clearunit. Planitherm Total Plus is required in all units.

All foiled products achieve the same rating as a white product.

Simulations are available for alternative product and glass combinations although thesewill not be certified at present.

It is intended that all windows supplied will be energy rated and that all sealed units willbe supplied by Whiteline.

Energy Rating Certificates will be sent out as a PDF file with the order acknowledgment.

Appendix 2 gives full details of the different certificates which have been applied for.
